This week I explored YouTube. Since library budgets are being cut and travel restricted, YouTube offers people a chance to view conference speeches. I enjoyed watching a bit of Jon Sciezka's speech at the Library of Congress. All this technology is certainly making the world smaller!

Week 8, Thing 19
I decided to explore Biblio.com from the Web 2.0 awards list. Biblio.com is a tool to find "out of print" books. You can search the following categories: books, browse books, rare books, textbooks and bookstores. There is a blog and articles on book repair. This site would be very useful for librarians because it is a resource we can use to answer questions and a site we want tell our customers about. I think it may be a good source for selling used textbooks.

Week 8 Thing 18
I used Zoho to create a document and then published it here. I certainly am learning a lot! I can see the advantages of Zoho - no more flashdrives and you can publish directly to your blog!
